Really stoked to be collaborating with Eleanor Young aka Fun Makes Good on a series of painted door across Perth Recently. Bored of the lack of colour and creativity on the streets of our local City we decided to take matters in to our own hands and work on a series of designs which we then painted in various locations. Feels really good to get back to my abstract roots a bit on this one and I've been enjoying coming up with organic pattern designs with Eleanor who is a master at textile designs.
Was really stoked to win first place at the 2016 Graphic Design Festival Scotland Live Project with my concept for a no bullshit Breastfeeding Support App. Wen't out my comfort this one and had a blast on the 2 day project fuelled on not much sleep and burgers. Big thanks to Recoat for their mentorship and intern opportunity.
I also attended the two day Nous Vous illustration workshop which was a whole load of fun and good times. Nous Vous are a great bunch of lads and well worth checking out their work.
If you're keen for some kick ass workshops then definitely check out the festival this year, I sure as hell will be.
Started work on my piece for Aberdeen's Painted Doors Project which as initiative that has invited several local artists to paint up a doorway. My door was the back door to a MacDonalds so it only seemed right to stick my over indulgent buddy 'DUNKIN' in there.
20Twenty got these wedges built up for their BMX Jam and requested I painted them up like a couple slices of pizza. Ready for you to grab a slice of the action...
Pretty stoked to work on this anniversary deck for Boarderline celebrating 20 years in the game. Support your locals folks!
Super fun day working with a bunch of great artists at the Gibson Street Gala in Glasgow on Sunday. Shame the rain washed us all out but look forward to finishing my piece at a later date with the sun and a BBQ.
Busy few weeks working on a few different projects so here's a wee peek at the Pelican NEAL BEARINGS commissioned me to do.
